Subject and stressed pronouns
Kurz erklärt
Subject pronouns identify who does the action and normally come before the verb: je, tu, il, elle, on, nous, vous, ils, elles. Je becomes j’ before a vowel or silent h. On often means “we” in everyday French but takes a singular verb. Stressed pronouns are moi, toi, lui, elle, nous, vous, eux, elles. Use them for emphasis, on their own, after a preposition, or after c’est/ce sont.
