Adjetivos e advérbios

Superlativos

A2Essencialinglês

Em inglês, geralmente usamos the antes do superlativo.

Formação

Adjetivos curtos: the + adjetivo + -est (small → the smallest). Adjetivos longos: the most + adjetivo (the most comfortable). Formas irregulares importantes: good → the best; bad → the worst; far → the farthest/the furthest.

Uso

  • Use in com lugares ou grupos no singular e of com conjuntos ou períodos: in the city; of the three; of the year.

Exemplos

  • This is the cheapest restaurant in town.
  • Mia is the most organized person on our team.
  • That was the best day of my vacation.

Erro comum

❌ She is the most tall student in the class.

✅ She is the tallest student in the class.
